The Branch Box Story - by artist Janet Donnangelo:
"Years ago I made my first box - it was for a friend who was feeling sad. I enclosed a note that I hoped would make her smile, and it did. A simple box with a happy thought inside that she could always go to. Then came a box for my boys when they went off to college. I enclosed strips of paper with hand-written messages of funny things they did as a child and happy thoughts that would cheer them up. And so it began: boxes of all shapes and sizes. They may just be decorative or used for holding your prayers, change, jewelry, paper clips, golf tees, or just your happy thoughts. What will you put in your Box?"
